This movie is a great American science fiction western film directed and co-written by Jon Favreau, based on the 2009 graphic novel of the same name by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning. It is produced by Favreau, Jerry Bruckheimer and Kathleen Kennedy, and stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, and Tommy Lee Jones. A stranger named Jake stumbled into a desert town with no memory of his past, he was surprised to find a futuristic shackle of solid metal around his wrist.
He entered the nearest town and was welcomed by a stranger in an unfriendly way, though he later discovered he is a pastor. In the next scene, the spoilt son of the richest man in that city was seen bullying people as usual, but when he tried to bully Craig he found out he has messed with the wrong guy.
The City corps arrested the Rich man’s son and tried arresting Jake but had more than they bargained. A strange damsel who has been following Jake for a time helped them to hit Jake down and capture him, who is this lady and why did she help the cops?
That night the City’s richest man Mr. Dolarhyde heard what happened from his servant Nat and came for his son. But they were taken unaware and attacked by strange visitors with flying mystic machines and made away with the villagers.
Then Suddenly the iron metal in Jake’s hand immediately beeped light and was activated, with the help of the metal which he discovered was a mystic gun he shot down one of the machines. A strange creature escaped from it, and it give them a crew to locate where they come from to track and rescue their villagers from them which Mr. Dolarhyde’s was also captured.
Jake felt uneven after the attack and started tracking the mystic creature’s path through its blood alone but was continuously followed by this strange woman named Ella who helped the cops to arrest him. He became angry and forced the lady to tell her why she is following him, then she said she aims to know where he came from and how he got the iron metal on his first. But Jake explained that he can’t really remember anything about his past.
As Jake and the villagers keep trailing the creature’s blood they met with a group of thieves, then from their interaction with Jake, it was discovered that he was part of them previously and a gang leader. He tried playing smart to add them to their men for the journey but got himself into trouble because he didn’t remember that he ran away with their gold. With the help of a mystic gun in his arm, he killed their boss and move on with his group unharmed.
As they were trailing the creature’s path they arrived at a building in which they were attacked again by the strange creatures, but Jake was able to rescue Ella though she could not make it alive. They captured some natives who decided to burn Ella’s body both she arose from the fire.
Everyone was shocked it was then she explained that she is not really from the earth, That she is from another planet. She explained that the creatures are aliens from another planet, that they visited her planet and destroyed every living thing there and made away with their gold. She explained that the aliens present are scouts and that if they are not stopped, they will go back and deliver feedback to others, and if full force return again no living thing will be left alive just as they did to her planet.
Then a question arose, how can they find their base? She explained that the Mystic steel on Jake’s fist is one of their weapons, and Jake wearing it means he has made contact with them previously. So if he can remember his past, then surely he must know their base.
The natives agreed to make him remember his past with their herbs. After the ritual, he remembered how the natives attacked him with his wife and captured them. How they killed his wife and he escaped, including the path that led to their base.
With the help of mysterious beauty Ella and the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde, he finds himself leading an unlikely posse of cowboys, outlaws, and Apache warriors against a common enemy from beyond this world in an epic showdown for survival.
When they reached the base they found out their number is too low for the war. Jake went and reconciled with his old friends and they joined the war. They later got the victory the hard way, though the beautiful damsel ” Ella ” sacrificed her life to destroy their ship totally.

Actually the the interior scenes of this movie Cowboy and Aliens were in United States specifically on the Universal studio backlot in Los Angeles. Though the exterior scenes were taken in New Mexico, which is where the main story takes place.
